I'm Rinat Tattarin Mingazdinov, an award-winning tattoo artist based in Los Angeles.

I work in a range of styles, including Japanese, realism, biomechanical, black and grey, and cover-ups. My focus is on large-scale tattoos, from full sleeves and back pieces to compositions that cover several parts of the body.

I book full-day tattoo sessions for these projects, giving larger compositions the time and attention they need.

My Approach to Large-Scale Tattoos

I like working on tattoos that have enough room for a complete composition. A full sleeve, a back piece, or a design that connects several parts of the body gives me more possibilities than a small, isolated image.

When we discuss your idea, I want to understand what you're drawn to, which elements matter most to you, and where the tattoo will go. You don't need to come in with a finished design.

I pay a lot of attention to how a tattoo fits the body. Something can look great on paper but need a different arrangement to work on an arm, a chest, or a back. I think about where the main elements belong, how they connect, and how the tattoo looks from different angles.

I've been tattooing since 2002, and I still enjoy figuring out how to turn an idea into a complete piece.

Certificate of Registration
This certifies that Rinat Mingazdinov is approved as a Registered Body Art Practitioner (Certification # SR0394143) to perform body art at permitted facilities within Los Angeles County. Issued by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health on November 5, 2025, this registration remains valid until November 6, 2026. Under California regulations, this current registration is also valid in other jurisdictions for up to 5 consecutive days, or a total of 15 days per calendar year.
